If I don't live in Indiana and I purchase a unit from Tiara, will I have to pay sales tax and license fees?
If you are a Michigan resident, we will collect 7% sales tax, you will get credit in Michigan for paying that tax. On any other out of state customer, no sales tax will be collected. We provide you with a 31 day temporary tag to use until the final paperwork clears. When the paperwork has cleared we will mail you the MSO (Manufacturers Statement of Origin), which you will take to your local license branch where you will pay your taxes and license fees.
How can you sell your units for a so much less then my local dealer?
Tiara RV Sales is in close proximity to the production facilities and that allows us to save on freight costs. We in turn pass that discount on to our customers. Elkhart is considered to be the RV capitol of the world, to stay competitive in our local market we must price our units accordingly. Our campers are not base models and have not taken any kind of damage or abuse; in most cases they have all available options.
What other fees will I be charged when I purchase this camper?
None, Tiara RV Sales has no document fees, prep fees or licensing fees. The price is the price. The camper will come fully prepped and detailed. All appliances will be tested as well as the water and gas systems. The LP bottles will be filled and a new deep cycle battery will be installed. You will also receive an RV Starter kit that will include RV toilet tissue, holding tank chemicals, 25' drinking water hose, 30/15 amp adapter, level, brass water regulator and a pair of dump station gloves.
Do you take trade-ins?
Yes, we can usually give you a quote without seeing your camper, but pictures certainly help. Each trade is subject to inspection when it is received.
What do I do if I need service work?
Tiara RV has an eight bay service center that can handle all of your warranty and service needs. If you are traveling or not local, any dealership for the manufacturer will perform your service and warranty work. If you need assistance locating your nearest service center please call 866-233-3085. You can also visit your manufactures website to find your nearest dealer. We also offer an extended service contract that allows you to get service work done at ANY service facility.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we use banks that specialize in RV loans and have more competitive rates and terms, but of course these vary based on credit scores.
Do you sell hitches?
Yes. We offer a variety of weight distribution and sway control systems. We also offer brake control services. Fifth wheel hitches are installed at Dan's Service Center across the street from our store, Tiara will take your unit there for Dan's to connect it to your vehicle and make any adjustments that may be needed. Dan's Hitch offers various types and sizes of hitches and can answer any towing questions you have about your vehicle. They also can provide you with any other unique towing systems you request.
